PUBLIC SPACE

Through the pioneering work of the non-profit art association Positive Propaganda, Munich has emerged over the past decade as an internationally significant center for contemporary Street Art. Its public spaces have become a unique setting in which works by some of the most influential artists and key figures of the global Street Art movement can be experienced together.

Developed in close collaboration with the artists themselves, these projects bring together distinct artistic positions that have shaped the history and evolution of Street Art. They include monumental works by pioneers Shepard Fairey and BLU, hyperrealistic sculptural interventions by Mark Jenkins, and politically engaged artistic statements by ESCIF and NoNAME.

Together, these works establish a lasting dialogue between contemporary art, urban society, and the public sphere, positioning Munich as an exceptional international destination for experiencing some of the most significant artistic voices of the Street Art movement.
